There are many places one could work in the hospitality industry. Some of the segments that provide employment opportunities to hospitality graduates include lodging, food service, tourism, meeting and event planning, and the cruise line industry. Briefly describe each segment of the industry. Include industry resources to define the size or employment reach of the industry. Identify at least one example of a career that a hospitality management graduate could pursue in each one of the above five segments. Each segment should be a different paragraph in your paper. Use transitions.
Additionally, please identify a job you would like to have upon graduation or retirement from the military. Use any career resource web sites, including our career services. Conduct a skills self assessment. Explain why you are either fully qualified for this position, or identify what you must obtain in terms of education or experience before you are completely qualified for this position.
*For the last portion, I am opening a wine bar in Mexico while also studying online in order to get my certificate in Restaurant Operations. This will give me an understanding on how to run and manage a restaurant. Mention something along the lines of on the job training or learning as you go…..
