your essay should be a minimum of 300 words. Be sure to use excerpts from the readings to illustrate/support your opinion. Cite the page number of evidence you use to support your arguments (parenthetical notations). An example of a parenthetical notation would be a quote from Handmaid’s Tale “….” then (Atwood 78) It is important to remember, from a grading perspective, that in a documented essay the documentation and sources are more important than your particular opinion. 1. In “The Handmaid’s Tale” Aunt Lydia talks about freedom to and freedom from. Identify what she said about these freedoms and either support or oppose her position using the information in the readings.
2. Should one never willingly do wrong or does it depend on circumstances? What is Socrates’ view on this? If it does depend on circumstances, in what conditions would wrongdoing be “right”? Are there any in which it would it be “good or honorable”?
