Analysis writing, unlike summary writing, focuses on your opinions and interpretations of the material presented in the articles. You will likely write something like, “I think this article really misses the point. It never talks about _____, and that really shows the author isn’t considering the issue fully.” This assignment should be in MLA documentation style, expressive mode, and appropriate academic form (well-written, edited, following standard grammatical concepts, etc.). The analysis should be a minimum of one full page in standard paragraphing format.
