You will now write learning objectives for your learning goal and major tasks.
Steps
1. Write your learning objectives. The learning objectives must be written according to the three components that should be included in an effective learning objective: performance, conditions, and criteria. You will include one terminal learning objective matched to the learning goal (developed in the previous module) and several enabling objectives matched to the major tasks identified in the task analysis (developed in the previous module). You may want to modify your learning goal and task analysis, if necessary.
• Writing the terminal objective essentially involves rewriting the learning goal stated in your task analysis so that it includes a clear statement of a measurable performance and also includes conditions and criteria.
• Writing the enabling learning objectives involves rewriting the major tasks identified in the task analysis by including a clear statement of a measurable performance and also including conditions and criteria.
