II. Research Proposal Instructions:
The goal of the proposal is to encourage you to begin your research early and to give me the opportunity to comment on your topic
1) Include the following:
a. Name of topic
b. Explanation of why you chose this topic and its importance (2-3 paragraphs)
c. Your research question
d. A working thesis statement (this may change)
e. At least two sources. Give the full MLA Works Cited citation and write a short paragraph beneath each source explaining what it says and how you plan to use it.
2) The proposal should be 2-3 pages (12 pt. font, double spaced)
