Provide information on how to perform the movement correctly.
This is to be determined by researching how to do it properly, not using your personal experience. Correct movements must be described using proper industry and biomechanical terms.
Peer reviewed journal research will be conducted on how to perform the movement and are your primary sources for this project. Movement is the Clean and Press

Identify and describe your subject (Person chosen to perform the movement for your analysis) in detail.
My subject is a 43 year old white female that weighs 152lb and is 5ft 7”. She is fairly new to weight lifting, she has been lifting for roughly 7 months. She has type I diabetes and takes Humalin 70/30, Humalog, and Lisinopril. She has a sedentary career, she works at Geico as a licensed insurance agent and sits 8 to 10 hours a day. Teresa does not really have any other health concerns other than diabetes. She has had a stroke in 2010, which she has a little bit if balance problems, and gripping with her left hand. Her resting heart rate in 76 and blood pressure 120/80.
Next, provide your reason for choosing this subject (person).
I chose Teresa because I have been training her for the past seven months. She has gone from182lbs to 152lbs and is dedicated to working out at least 5 days a week. She has competed with me in a Strongman competition. For me she is easily trained and a hard worker and this is why I selected Teresa.
Finally, explain your methods of data collection to analyze your subject’s (person’s) skill movement.
For Teresa’s movement assessment I had her do a couple exercises to test her balance, due to her balance issues. The overhead squat, which reflected a problem with going into the parallel depth. She pointed her feet out which caused her legs to follow and she bent forward while going down into the squat position and she had a hard time keeping her hands up. We have worked on her balance issue and technics for the clean and press.
The perfecting of the clean and press technique is important to her foundation and now we can start to increase weight. The importance of increasing weight is important because when she competes in her next Strongman competition, she will need to do reps of 120lbs.
Will there be any limitations?
Teresa’s limitations are her balance and grip from her stroke, along with her type I diabetes. Now when working out we have to watch her sugar, because she will get light headed and double vision and we will have to stop while she grabs some sugar.
