Read the Morehouse (2007) research study on emotional intelligence and leadership. Unless you have had prior training, the statistical data will be difficult to understand. Just focus on the written portions of the report. This study used quantitative methods to examine the relationship between emotional intelligence and leadership in human services and business organizations. In a few paragraphs, briefly summarize the study’s purpose and quantitative strategy. What did you find interesting about this study, and have you encountered similar research in your personal or professional experience? Be sure to use APA reference style, properly citing ideas and any direct quotations.

One of the three additional articles (Bassi, Cray, & Caldrello, 2008; Kohler, Schoenberger, Beasley, & Phillips, 2008; or Patterson, et al., 2008) will also be reviewed to further enhance your understanding of quantitative analysis and used as a comparison to Morehouse (2007).
