Do you think that racism is present in the rest of Europe? Explain your thoughts

The World describes in detail the European and Russian cities of London, Paris, Barcelona, Oslo, Berlin, Bucharest, Moscow, St Petersburg, Vladivostok, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Norilsk, and Kazan.  Please see the maps at the beginning of each chapter.  Note that the textbook does not include Russia with the Asian countries (Chapters 9, 10 &11).

In Chapter 5, the author states, “Cities of the EU {the European Union} form part of an international trading bloc that contains nearly half a billion people.”   And that “the {post-WWII} demand for low-wage labor in Western Europe has meant immigration has gradually produced new cultural mixes in the largest cities.”  “The presence of significant numbers of foreign workers and their families has generated problems.”  Chapter 6 tells us that Russia has also experienced cultural mixing, especially since the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991.  “The early post-Soviet period exposed many {Russia} cities to increased poverty, economic collapse, and restructuring, as well as to large inflows of refugees from more troubled parts of the former Soviet Union.”  What kinds of problems have resulted in this European/Russian new cultural mixing?
