Assignments (Part 1)
I’d like for you to start considering your research paper. Under the “Coursework” tab, please go to the “Research Paper” folder and review the research paper assignment. Feel free to brainstorm your topic and consider discussing it with your peers. This should be dropped off in the Research Proposal Drop Box – this is due June 26th.
I would then like for you to write a research proposal. It should be no more than 1 page (250 words). It should discuss:
· The general topic and argument for your paper.
· It should discuss what type of “approach” you may consider taking – see Literary Criticism folder for explanations.
· Discuss what you know about the genre, author and the text, and then discuss what you hope to discover.
· List at least three articles that discuss the author, genre, or specific text. Include the URL, title and author.
