Formatting: All papers should be double-spaced and use the proper MLA heading and formatting. All papers should have a Works Cited page and should properly document the sources in-text with proper punctuation and parenthetical references.
Organization: Papers should contain multiple paragraphs, and should be able to look at every single paragraph in your paper and clearly see how it supports the thesis. A topic sentence for each paragraph that refers back to some aspect of the thesis can help keep you on track with this. Style: All papers should be written in an engaging style that promotes human interest. It is okay and encouraged to use the first person pronouns in my class, though, as a rule, this is something you should check with each teacher.
