Defining the problem requires looking at the problem from multiple perspectives and refining the problem until you get to the heart of it. Perhaps sales have decreased in your organization, which is a problem. But why is there a decrease in sales? Is the marketing not effective? Is there a quality control issue?
Thoroughly analyze the situation to determine exactly the true problem. Again, focus only on the problem in this assignment. For now, work on finding the heart of the problem.
