BUSINESS PLAN 
 
• This business plan is a proposal to use I-pads for charting in home health instead of using laptop computers. 
• Currently we use laptop computer for charting, I-phone for making, receiving calls and e-mails, and carry a digital camera for taking pictures of wounds an I-pad would eliminate the phone and camera. 
• Will need actual data and cost for this paper. 
• Needs to lead reader through understanding why best way to solve problem 
• Plan will be presented to home health nurses 
• What is the plan, describe the apps we can use

Title: be sure to include the name of the person who wrote proposal 
Definition: define the proposed item, changes, services, or program 
Rationale: why it I needed?( more efficient charting, more patient time) why is this the best item, or way to do the service. Discuss advantages , how it saves cost and time, discuss disadvantages. In this section outline other alternatives you have considered ex. Using I pad instead of a tablet. 
Implementation plan: Specify what needs to happen. Provide timelines and costs 
Cost/benefits: show the actual cost and , if appropriate how this will change existing cost, can use( pie chart or graphs) 
Evaluation plan: How will you evaluate the effectiveness of this proposal item.
