An annotated bibliography is a list of citations to books, articles, and documents. Each citation is followed by a brief (usually about 150 words) descriptive and evaluative paragraph, the annotation. The purpose of the annotation is to inform the reader of the relevance, accuracy, and quality of the sources cited.
Create annotated bibliography calls for the application of a variety of intellectual skills: concise exposition, succinct analysis, and informed library research.
You are encouraged to utilize the library web site. You can perform searches of all resources from the home page. For example, a search for “medical ethics radiology” returned over 1800 peer-reviewed journal articles – most with full text.
First, locate and record citations to 3 articles in peer-reviewed journals that contain information that are relevant to this course (radiobiology, protection, etc.) and not more than 10 years old.
