JOURNAL ARTICLE REVIEW INSTRUCTIONS

You will conduct four Journal Article Reviews. Your reviews must involve critiquing and reviewing selected articles on your chosen topic.
Article 1 — Instruction in the Inclusive Classroom
Article 2 — Low and High Incidence Disabilities
Article 3 — Differentiation and Response To Intervention (RTI)
Article 4 — Strategies and Evaluation for Learning

Each review should be one page, double-spaced and follow proper APA formatting, including a title and reference page.
Be sure not to use first person.
You may choose your articles from any of the professional journals of special education listed below:

Each article you choose must be current (written within the last five years) and related to students with special needs.

When composing your reviews, practice using graduate professional writing by utilizing a professional writing style. Do not begin with “This article is about…;” open the review with a strong thesis statement and summarize the author’s main points in the first paragraph. Using third person, state your personal reaction to the article in the final paragraph (“This author agrees/disagrees…” or “one can see that…”).

Prepare a report on the impacts and importance of ethics & CSR in British Airway and American Airline. Critically comment on the future of CSR within the selected companies.

It’s 5000 words report. You do not need to include introduction or conclusion because it’s a report and my part is to only write the following points around 1400 words.

Chaucer describes characters who live by high, noble Christian ideals and those who don’t but instead are motivated by greed and self-interest. Select four characters described in the Prologue to the Canterbury Tales and discuss how each one lived according to Christian ideals of morality or obviously failed to do so. Explain how Chaucer uses language to reveal his opinion of each character. Quote examples from the text that show how Chaucer uses tone, caricature, irony and wit in his writing to entertain the reader and pass judgment on his characters.

2) King Lear is a tragic hero. Describe the tragic flaw that limits his understanding of his true situation, his reversal of fortunes and new awareness he gains as a result of his suffering. Compare and contrast his situation to that of Oedipus. Support your thinking with examples from the text.

3) Explain how these three female characters deal with infidelity: Medea and the Wife of Bath. Discuss similarities and differences you notice in their responses. Support your thinking with examples from the text.

4) Compare and contrast the sibling rivalry of Cain and Abel and Leah and Rachel from the Hebrew Bible with the sibling rivalry between Edgar and Edmund and Goneril and Regan in King Lear. Support your thinking with examples from the text.

In Writing with Style, John Trimble describes the characteristics of writing that make it “readable.” Many of these traits are evident in John Schwartz’s memoir Oddly Normal.

In a brief essay in class, discuss several readable qualities of the prose from pages 9 – 11 of Schwartz’s book. Cite Trimble’s Observation about “readability” to help explain your observations.

• Put the summary or quotation in a subordinate clause, and state the analysis in the main clause. (A sentence structure for combing summary / Quotation with analysis.)

• When John Trimble notes that readable is confident, the phrase writing “we must learn to love our kids” embodies this.
